Empowering High School Learners with Fluorosis Awareness and Education
Our recent visit to the Empakasi Secondary School in Kajiado County was a tremendous success! The learners were truly engaged and impressed by the interactive session on dental fluorosis awareness and the importance of fluoride levels in their drinking water.
Through this eye-opening segment, students gained a deeper understanding of the root causes behind their discolored teeth. A condition affecting about 80% of the learners at the school. This discovery highlights the urgent need for targeted interventions to improve their oral health and overall confidence.
We are excited to return soon to provide smile restoration treatments and to install a water purification system that will help reduce fluoride levels and prevent further cases of fluorosis.
